What are your check-in requirements?
- We are a full service hostel for the international traveler in need of a great place to stay at a budget price. To accommodate such travelers, we require you to have prove that you do in fact fall into this category. You must have a passport from a country other than the USA or an out of state driver's license with travel documentation such as a bus, train or plane ticket stub. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate locals because we know you have many options that international backpackers simply do not! However not all rules are written in stone, so if you feel you are a true globe-trotting backpacker living locally, get in touch with us and we'll see if we can make an exception for you!
Do you have Free Internet?

We believe that internet is a basic human right so we do have free internet and free wifi for your laptop! Our goal is not ot nickle and dime you, but to give you the best hostel experience in the world! We know your momma is waiting for that e-mail and all your friends are dying to see some pictures of you in front of the hollywood sign. Staying connected at NAB Hostel Hollywood is as easy as flipping the light switch!
Do you have free Breakfast and is it any good?
- The breakfast is fantastic and it's 100% free! Every morning you will get free all you can eat Belgian waffles with 100% real maple syrup, fresh fruit and all the free coffee and tea you can drink! Enjoy!
Is it Safe?
- Much like any other large city, Los Angeles is one in which you must be aware of you surroundings. With that said, the overall safety of Hollywood holds to the highest standard and you should have no problems. NAB Hostel Hollywood is located in the heart of Hollywood next to some of the best known and most exclusive venues where security is a top priority. The streets are clean and the environment is extremely friendly. The hostel itself is a very safe place! We have an algorithm-encoded front gate, a secure entrance into every dorm and strong lockers for all your valuables, just brink a lock or buy one from us for a small fee!
Do you have any special services for the Ladies?
- Do we ever! The Los Angeles Hostel is know for recognizing the special needs of the lady traveler. Our Lady Sanctuary Dorm is equipped with a beautiful vanity and hair dryer. We keep it extra clean and smelling great! In addition to the dorm, when you check in, you will get a super fluffy huge towel to comfort you and make you feel very at ease!
Do you provide cheap bicycle rentals?
- Yes we do! The standard rates on our bicycles are half that of any other bicycle rental agency in the city. However, if you decide to stay four or more nights, you will get an additional 50% off!
Are your beds comfortable?
- We have the best beds on the planet! Have one look at the gallery section and you will be convinced! We use top-quality mattresses, soft pillows and fluffy comforters. In addition, every bed has a night light and curtains for when you really need a good nights rest after a long trek!
Do you have any special services for backpackers?
- Absolutely! When you stay 4 nights or more, you will get a free transportation from the airport, free use of our laundry facilities, 50% off bicycle rentals and free internet and breakfast (standard)! Additionally, we have many friends within Los Angeles who will give you discounts on tours and entrance fees not to mention free rides to places! If you need us to recommend a hostel at your next destination, we have many friends who will accommodate you for a very low price, check with the staff at the front desk for advice! As for transportation, there are many choices in Los Angeles and our friendly staff will help you get the best rates on trains, busses, airplanes and even car rentals. Safe Travels!
What do I do with my luggage after check out?
- Let us hold on to it for you, it's free! We will hold your luggage in a safe place, free of charge after you check out! But we ask that you not abuse this special privilege as our space is limited.
Do you provide anything for free?
- To sum up all our free offerings, they include free internet, free breakfast, free travel services, free luggage storage, free linens, free lockers, free billiards in our game room, and free smiles coupled with good times!
Is there a curfew?
- No curfew, come and go as you please!
What time is check in and check out?
- Check in time is at 12:00 noon and check out time is 10:00 in the morning. We're very easy-going here so if you happen to arrive a little early and we have an open bed, you can have it! The check-out time, however is strictly enforced this policy allows us to keep the hostel looking and smelling great for everyone to enjoy!
